Thanks to Charles French, Words Reading and Writing (https://charlesfrenchonwordsreadingandwriting.wordpress.com/author/frenchc1955/), for nominating my blog for the Dragon’s Loyalty Award, given to those who have commented on and/or followed other blogs. I’m a little late posting this, but that’s because it has inspired me to roam around and discover new blogs—and of course that means reading, commenting, reblogging. I’ve got tons of stuff posted on my blog or bookmarked, waiting for me to come back and read and do.
For my nominees (below), these are the rules for this award if you would like to participate:

Okay, hmmmm, seven interesting things about myself (am I the best judge of this?):
I like snakes, and protect them whenever I can.
I hate listening to music, but I know all the words to “Restless Wind” and “Winter Wonderland” (except for that line that comes after “as we dream by the fire”).
It took me sixty=five years to learn that beets are GOOD!
For a short time, I galloped my own racehorse. (No, I didn’t stop because I fell off. That was another horse.)
I am a fan of both Steve McQueens.
I came in third for the most chaotic office at my university.
I have no sweet tooth (but I’m a sucker for fat and salt).
